\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0We are a FREE Nation<\/strong>, represented by the Eagle<\/strong> (American Symbol<\/strong> of that Freedom<\/strong>)!\u00a0 The Liberty Tour<\/strong> has CELEBRATED FREEDOM<\/strong> since 2005<\/strong>, which was the inaugural season for the Liberty Tour Track & Field Series<\/strong>.\u00a0 Never taking for granted the Freedom<\/strong> we had, the Pandemic <\/strong>stretched our \u201cInalienable Rights\u201d<\/strong> to \u201cLife, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness\u201d!<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0On Saturday<\/strong>, June 12th<\/sup><\/strong>, at Rensselaer High School<\/strong>, we could, once again, feel Free As A Bird!<\/strong>\u00a0 Although the Athletes<\/strong> had aged two (2)<\/strong> years (NOT necessarily the Coaches), some got taller, some changed their voice, each Athlete<\/strong> got better! \ud83d\ude0a\u00a0 Some, decided to OBLITERATE<\/strong> the Record Books!<\/strong>\u00a0 Taydence Morrison (Country Mills Eagles<\/strong>) did just that!\u00a0 The 100m Record<\/strong> for the Midget Boys<\/strong> (11-12<\/strong>) has stood since 2013<\/strong>, held by Jamie Cocca (Averill Park Road Runners<\/strong>) with a time of 13.3<\/strong> seconds.\u00a0 Taydence ran a smoking time of 13.05<\/strong> seconds, setting an Adirondack Championship Record<\/strong>, as well as a New Liberty Tour Record!<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0But, he didn\u2019t stop there!\u00a0 He took his talent to the Long Jump Pit<\/strong> where he set a New Adirondack Championship Record<\/strong> with a leap of 5.21m<\/strong> destroying the previous Record<\/strong>, held by Devon Willis (Country Mills Eagles<\/strong>) since 2008<\/strong> (4.52m<\/strong>), and setting a New Liberty Tour Record<\/strong> passing Neil Howard (In A NY Minute<\/strong>) since 2018<\/strong> (4.90m<\/strong>).\u00a0 There is No Question<\/strong> that Eagles Can Fly!<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0More Proof?\u00a0 Country Mills Eagles<\/strong> took 1st<\/sup> Place<\/strong> in four (4<\/strong>) of the seven (7<\/strong>) 100m<\/strong> races in which their Athletes<\/strong> were entered!\u00a0 The other three (3<\/strong>) took 2nd<\/sup> Place!<\/strong>\u00a0 Three (3<\/strong>) of the four (4<\/strong>) Eagles<\/strong> that took 1st<\/sup> Place<\/strong> in the 100m<\/strong>, also took 1st<\/sup> <\/strong>in the 200m<\/strong>.\u00a0 The Country Mills Eagles<\/strong> also took 1st<\/sup> Place<\/strong> in the 100m Hurdles<\/strong>, and the Girl\u2019s 400m Hurdles<\/strong>.\u00a0 And, five (5<\/strong>) Country Mills Eagles Long Jumpers<\/strong> took 1st<\/sup> Place<\/strong> in their respective Age Divisions!<\/strong>\u00a0 Three (3<\/strong>) Athletes<\/strong> took 1st<\/sup> Place<\/strong> in the 100m<\/strong>, 200m<\/strong>, and the Long Jump!<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0For those that are less inclined to get airborne, they took to applying force to Implements<\/strong> to make them airborne.\u00a0 Two (2<\/strong>) Athletes<\/strong> took 1st<\/sup> Place<\/strong> in the Discus<\/strong>, while four (4<\/strong>) Athletes took 1st<\/sup> Place<\/strong> in the Javelin!\u00a0 <\/strong>Keep scrolling down to see more Photos <\/strong>of Performances <\/strong>at the Adirondack Championships <\/strong>by Country Mills Eagles Athletes.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\t\t
