QUALIFIED"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Each year, the <strong>Track &amp; Field Season<\/strong>\u00a0is made up of four <strong>(4) Developmental Meets,<\/strong>\u00a0two <strong>(2) Qualifying Meets<\/strong>, and two <strong>(2) Championship Meets<\/strong>.\u00a0 To date, the <strong>Country Mills Eagles<\/strong> have competed in the first three <strong>(3) Developmental Meets<\/strong> (<strong>Patriot\u2019s Invitational<\/strong>, <strong>Constitution Classic<\/strong>, <strong>President\u2019s Open<\/strong>), all of which are meant to allow the <strong>Team<\/strong> to prepare for their first <strong>Qualifying Meet<\/strong> (<strong>Adirondack District Championships<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 The <strong>Adirondack District Championships<\/strong> is the first <strong>Qualifying Meet<\/strong> in a series of <strong>Meets<\/strong>, of which will eventually lead to the <strong>National Track &amp; Field Championships<\/strong> in <strong>Greensboro<\/strong>, <strong>NC<\/strong>.\u00a0 However, the first step is to <strong>\u201cQualify\u201d<\/strong> to advance to the <strong>Region I Championships<\/strong> in <strong>New Haven<\/strong>, <strong>CT<\/strong>.\u00a0 In <strong>2022<\/strong>, the <strong>Country Mills Eagles<\/strong> had each <strong>Athlete \u201cQualify\u201d<\/strong> in a minimum of one <strong>(1) Event<\/strong>.\u00a0 According to <strong>Head Coach<\/strong> Anthony Mills, <strong>\u201cThis may be one of the most talented Track &amp; Field Teams we have had since Country Mills Eagles Track &amp; Field began in 2001.\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0 It may be a bit early to determine that, at this point of the season, as this is only the halfway point, but anything is possible.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_1580\" style=\"width: 610px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img justify;\"><strong>Nicholas Cenci<\/strong>, new to <strong>Track &amp; Field<\/strong> in <strong>2022<\/strong>, qualified in all three <strong>(3)<\/strong> of his <strong>Events<\/strong> taking <strong>2<sup>nd<\/sup> Place<\/strong> in both the <strong>200m Dash<\/strong> and the <strong>Javelin<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_1579\" style=\"width: 610px\" class=\"wp-caption justify;\"><strong>Marissa Fiacco<\/strong> had a <strong>BUSY Day<\/strong>, as she contested the entire <strong>Heptathlon<\/strong> in one <strong>(1) Day<\/strong>, instead of the two <strong>(2) Days<\/strong> over which it is usually contested.\u00a0 In addition, she competed in the <strong>Open 400m<\/strong>, and is also a valuable part of the <strong>4 x 100m Relay<\/strong>, and the <strong>4 x 400m Relay<\/strong>.\u00a0 For the first time since <strong>2005<\/strong>, there is a <strong>New Record Holder<\/strong> in the <strong>Girl\u2019s (15-16) Heptathlon!<\/strong>\u00a0 qualified in the <strong>Steeplechase<\/strong>.\u00a0 <strong>Ryan Slingerland<\/strong> is looking to step into the <strong>Running Shoes<\/strong> of former <strong>Country Mills Eagles Steeplechaser<\/strong>, <strong>Henry Goca<\/strong>, who took the <strong>Silver<\/strong> at the <strong>National Track &amp; Field Championships<\/strong>.\u00a0 Ryan also qualified in the
