\"\" \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 The <\/span>Liberty Games Track & Field Championships<\/strong> were placed on the calendar exactly two <\/span>(2)<\/strong> weeks before the <\/span>National Track & Field Championships<\/strong>, so that <\/span>Athletes <\/strong>could have one <\/span>(1)<\/strong> last opportunity to work on their <\/span>Events<\/strong>, especially the <\/span>Combined Events<\/strong>, prior to the <\/span>\u201cBig Dance\u201d<\/strong>.\u00a0 With that as the main <\/span>Goal,<\/strong> as the <\/span>ES Sports Council Slogan<\/strong> states, <\/span>\u201cBRING YOUR GAME!\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Jae-cion Boyd<\/strong> set a PR<\/strong> and a Liberty Tour Record<\/strong> for the Boy\u2019s<\/strong> (9-10) in both the High Jump<\/strong> (1.15m) and the 400m<\/strong> (1:14.49) during the Triathlon<\/strong>, in order to set a New PR<\/strong> in the Triathlon<\/strong> with 401 points!<\/strong>\"\"<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Having a solid Track & Field Season<\/strong> filled with steady progression, Marissa Fiacco<\/strong>, who was celebrating her Sweet Sixteenth Birthday<\/strong> over the weekend, gave a Record Breaking Performance<\/strong> in the Girl\u2019s <\/strong>(15-16) Heptathlon<\/strong>, obliterating the previous Liberty Games Record<\/strong> of 2,570 points<\/strong>, held by former Country Mills Eagles Athlete<\/strong>, Naomi Davies<\/strong>, set in 2017<\/strong>, with a score of 2,952 points!<\/strong>\u00a0 That was aided, in large part, by the PR <\/strong>she set in the High Jump<\/strong> by clearing 1.40m<\/strong>.\"\" \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Although he did not set a Record<\/strong>, Ryan Slingerland<\/strong> showed what HARD WORK<\/strong> and PRACTICE<\/strong> can do, when he set a PR <\/strong>in the Javelin<\/strong> with a heave of 37.41m<\/strong>.\u00a0 That toss is more than 4m<\/strong> further than his previous PR<\/strong>, and will move him up in the National Rankings<\/strong>, for sure!\"\"\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0The most Dominating Performance<\/strong> of the day came from Arianna Mills<\/strong> who CRUSHED<\/strong> the Girl\u2019s<\/strong> (11-12) Pentathlon Record<\/strong> for the Liberty Tour<\/strong>, with an EXCITING 1,822 points<\/strong>, which is close to 200 points<\/strong> above the previous Record<\/strong>, held by Section II Track & Field Star<\/strong>, Claire Howard<\/strong>, who set the Record<\/strong> back in 2015<\/strong> with 1,658 points<\/strong>.\u00a0 In the process, Arianna <\/strong>also set Liberty Tour<\/strong> or Liberty Games Records<\/strong> in each of the Events<\/strong> that make up the Pentathlon<\/strong> (80m Hurdles, High Jump, Shot Put, Long Jump, 800m Run).<\/p>\n
