\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 She has been an Eagle<\/strong> since the age of three (3)!<\/strong>\u00a0 There are very few Events<\/strong> for Athletes<\/strong> of that age, so she contested the 100m<\/strong>, 200m<\/strong>, and Long Jump<\/strong>.\u00a0 When she turned four (4)<\/strong> years old, she picked up Javelin<\/strong> (Turbo Javelin<\/strong> for Youth<\/strong>).\u00a0 Once she reached the ripe old age of nine (9), she could contest the Triathlon<\/strong> (Shot Put, High Jump, 200m).\u00a0 Unfortunately, Track & Field<\/strong> was CANCELLED<\/strong> that year due to Covid-19 Restrictions!<\/strong> \u2639<\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 In 2021<\/strong>, Track & Field<\/strong> was back, and Arianna<\/strong> contested the Triathlon<\/strong>, adding Shot Put<\/strong> and High Jump<\/strong> to her Skill Sets<\/strong>.\u00a0 However, once an Athlete<\/strong> reaches 11<\/strong> years of age, they can contest the Pentathlon<\/strong> (80m Hurdles, High Jump, Shot Put, Long Jump, 800m).\u00a0 More than EAGER<\/strong> to contest this Event<\/strong>, Arianna began in September<\/strong> of 2021 <\/strong>working, diligently, on Hurdles<\/strong> and High Jump<\/strong>, fully aware that they would be VITAL <\/strong>in her placement when the National Track & Field Championships<\/strong> rolled around in 2022<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Coach That Myat Lwin <\/strong>had a perfectly set Schedule <\/strong>of Performance<\/strong>, which included 3-Stepping<\/strong> between each Hurdle<\/strong>, and that brought Arianna to the point where she was set to PEAK <\/strong>at the National Track & Field Championships<\/strong>.\u00a0 She DID <\/strong>just that with a PR <\/strong>of 15.71!<\/strong>\u00a0 In addition she broke the previous Country Mills Eagles Record<\/strong> of 15.93<\/strong> set by Shannon Lenzi<\/strong> back in 2006!<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 On a roll from her PR<\/strong> in the 80m Hurdles<\/strong>, she continued her PR<\/strong> ways by doing the same in the High Jump<\/strong>, clearing 1.35m<\/strong>.\u00a0 Doing so made her the second best High Jumper<\/strong> among more than 40 Pentathletes<\/strong>, and moved her into 7th<\/sup> Place<\/strong>.\u00a0 She entered the National Track & Field Championships<\/strong> ranked #10<\/strong>, and finished the competition in 9th<\/sup> Place<\/strong>.\u00a0 Although she set a PR<\/strong> in her Score<\/strong> (1,955 points<\/strong>), she missed making the Medal Stand<\/strong> (8th<\/sup> Place) by just 49<\/strong> points. \u2639<\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 As noted previously, though, the #1 Goal<\/strong> is to PR <\/strong>at each Meet<\/strong>, and she did so in the 80m Hurdles<\/strong>, High Jump<\/strong>, and her Raw Score!<\/strong>\u00a0 Congratulations<\/strong> to Arianna<\/strong> with her Record Setting Performance<\/strong> in the Pentathlon!<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
