\u00a0 \u00a0 \"\"<\/a>\u00a0It was 230 years ago that a special group of people declared us “Independent” from England. At that time, it may have been seen as a shot in the dark, but today we all have the freedom to participate in such wonderful opportunities as the Empire State Liberty Tour’s, Independent Invitational, because they took that shot seriously!<\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0This was the final developmental meet of the season for the Country Mills Eagles. “We were fortunate to have this meet as a practice meet for all of our ‘combined event’ athletes” said head coach Anthony Mills Sr. He adds, “We had some athletes that discovered wonderful new skills that will serve them well as we are preparing for the Region 1 Junior Olympic Meet next week in Kingston.” When asked to assess the talent going into the Region 1 JO Meet coach Mills exclaimed, “We’re Ready!”<\/p>\n
