They are influenced by bands like Dave Matthews, Gaslight Anthem, Incubus, and many more.\r\n\r\n     The <strong>Empire State Sports Council<\/strong> is pleased to announce that <strong>Beautiful Disaster<\/strong> will be the featured entertainment for the <strong>Opening Festival<\/strong> of the <strong>Liberty Games<\/strong> at the <strong>University @ Albany<\/strong>, <strong>Thursday<\/strong>, <strong>July 17th<\/strong>, and will begin at <strong>6:00 pm<\/strong>. The gates will open at <strong>5:00 pm<\/strong>.\r\n\r\n     The band is made up of four <strong>(4)<\/strong> friends; <strong>Kate Yerry<\/strong>, the lead vocalist; <strong>Steve Thompson<\/strong>, guitarist and vocals; <strong>Sean Mack<\/strong>, bassist and backup vocals; <strong>Mike Diaco<\/strong>, drums. The group's original music is inspired from past experiences of life and new outlooks for the future. <strong>Beautiful Disaster<\/strong> released a self-titled EP in May 2014, featuring, <strong>\"Outta This Place\"<\/strong>, one of the band's first songs.
