\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 It is a new decade for the Empire State Liberty Tour Track & Series<\/strong>, and that means there are several “NEW”<\/strong> and “EXCITING”<\/strong> things to set the pace for the next decade, which takes us to 2024. However, let’s NOT get too far ahead of ourselves, as I would like to enjoy 2015\u00a0first.<\/p>\n \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We started off with a “NEW”<\/strong> logo for each event of the Liberty Tour<\/strong>, began the Liberty Tour season at a completely “NEW”<\/strong> Track & Field facility (Taconic Hills High School), with three (3) “NEW”<\/strong> Teams that have never competed at any of the Liberty Tour <\/strong>events previously, had several “NEW”<\/strong> Records set, and starting in 2015, there is a “NEW” way to have your Track & Field Club earn “NEW”<\/strong> Equipment, Footwear, or Uniforms!<\/p>\n \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Liberty Sports Gear <\/strong>has partnered with the Empire State Sports Council (ES Sports)<\/strong> and is offering more than $1,000 in Gift Certificates<\/strong>, that can be used by the winning clubs for any of the above items just noted. Bridgett Bennett and her teammate, Lauren Berry (Pictured Above), wasted no time getting right to it, as they helped Chatham Gold<\/strong>, a growing and competitive Track & Field club, jump out to a substantial early lead in the standings by earning 262.5 points at the Patriot’s Invitational<\/strong> this past weekend.<\/p>\n \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Liberty Tour Track & Field Series <\/strong>is comprised of six (6) events, and the Constitution Classic<\/strong> is up next on Sunday, May 31st, with a 2:00 pm start time. Be sure your Track & Field club makes it to each Liberty Tour<\/strong> event, so that your Team is in the best position to earn one (1) of four (4) Team Prizes<\/strong>. The top Prize is worth $500<\/strong> of Liberty Sports Gear<\/strong>!<\/p>\n \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 So, although normally we would show you several of the photos of the various performances that were Record setting, this time we wanted to capture each of the Teams that have earned at least 50+<\/strong> points in the Team Standings<\/strong>.
