Field<\/strong> makes it easier to accomplish such a goal, and <strong>Jamie Cocca<\/strong> (<strong><em>Pictured Above<\/em><\/strong>), from <strong>Averill Park Road Runners<\/strong>, takes it to a new height by setting the <strong>Adirondack Championship Record<\/strong>, and the <strong>Liberty Tour Record<\/strong> in the <strong>Weight Pentathlon<\/strong>, which consists of all five throwing events (<strong>Shot<\/strong>, <strong>Discus,<\/strong> <strong>Javelin<\/strong>, <strong>Hammer<\/strong>, and <strong>Weight<\/strong>).\u00a0 The previous <strong>Liberty Tour Track &amp; Field Record<\/strong> was his own from <strong>2016<\/strong>.\u00a0 In <strong>2017<\/strong> he broke his previous <strong>Record<\/strong> by <strong>71 <\/strong>points, for a total score of <strong>3,384<\/strong> points!<a href=\"http:\/\/essportscouncil.org\/liberty-tour\/files\/2017\/06\/Aung-Shot.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-4864\" src=\"http:\/\/essportscouncil.org\/liberty-tour\/files\/2017\/06\/Aung-Shot-400x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"http:\/\/essportscouncil.org\/liberty-tour\/files\/2017\/06\/Aung-Shot-400x300.jpg 400w, http:\/\/essportscouncil.org\/liberty-tour\/files\/2017\/06\/Aung-Shot-768x576.jpg 768w, http:\/\/essportscouncil.org\/liberty-tour\/files\/2017\/06\/Aung-Shot-600x450.jpg 600w, http:\/\/essportscouncil.org\/liberty-tour\/files\/2017\/06\/Aung-Shot.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The irony of this year, though, is that Jamie\u2019s older brother, <strong>David Cocca<\/strong>, held the previous <strong>Weight Pentathlon Record<\/strong> for <strong>the Senior Boys<\/strong> (<strong>17 -18<\/strong>) with a score of <strong>1,509<\/strong> points.\u00a0 That Record was eclipsed by <strong>Aung Soe<\/strong> (Country Mills Eagles) by posting a total of <strong>1,593<\/strong> points.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/essportscouncil.org\/liberty-tour\/files\/2017\/06\/Nadia-Hammer.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-4867\" src=\"http:\/\/essportscouncil.org\/liberty-tour\/files\/2017\/06\/Nadia-Hammer-400x548.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"548\" srcset=\"http:\/\/essportscouncil.org\/liberty-tour\/files\/2017\/06\/Nadia-Hammer-400x548.jpg 400w, http:\/\/essportscouncil.org\/liberty-tour\/files\/2017\/06\/Nadia-Hammer.jpg 534w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Not to be outdone by the their male counterparts, the <strong>Women<\/strong> had their say in <strong>Record Breaking<\/strong>, too!\u00a0 In her first appearance at a <strong>Weight Pentathlon<\/strong> event, <strong>Nadia Khan<\/strong> (Country Mills Eagles) set the an <strong>Adirondack Championship Record<\/strong>, and a <strong>Liberty Record<\/strong>, with a score of <strong>1,822<\/strong> points, passing Teammate Unique Bryant\u2019s previous <strong>Record<\/strong> in that event.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/essportscouncil.org\/liberty-tour\/files\/2017\/06\/Claire-v.-Alana-Pentathlon.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-4865\" src=\"http:\/\/essportscouncil.org\/liberty-tour\/files\/2017\/06\/Claire-v.-Alana-Pentathlon-400x264.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"264\" srcset=\"http:\/\/essportscouncil.org\/liberty-tour\/files\/2017\/06\/Claire-v.-Alana-Pentathlon-400x264.jpg 400w, http:\/\/essportscouncil.org\/liberty-tour\/files\/2017\/06\/Claire-v.-Alana-Pentathlon-768x506.jpg 768w, http:\/\/essportscouncil.org\/liberty-tour\/files\/2017\/06\/Claire-v.-Alana-Pentathlon-600x395.jpg 600w, http:\/\/essportscouncil.org\/liberty-tour\/files\/2017\/06\/Claire-v.-Alana-Pentathlon.jpg 1876w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Claire Howard<\/strong> (In A NY Minute) set a new <strong>Adirondack Championship Record<\/strong> in the <strong>Youth Girl\u2019s Pentathlon<\/strong>.\u00a0 Her previous <strong>Record<\/strong> from <strong>2016<\/strong> (<strong>1,925<\/strong> points) was briefly broken by <strong>Alana Burden<\/strong> (Country Mills Eagles) who scored <strong>1,954<\/strong> points this year.\u00a0 Yet, Claire surged ahead in the final event of the Pentathlon, 800m Run, to secure her <strong>Record<\/strong> at <strong>2,300<\/strong> points.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Claire\u2019s younger brother, <strong>Neil Howard III<\/strong> is also making a name for himself, as he set a new <strong>Liberty Tour Record<\/strong> in the <strong>Midget Boy\u2019s Pentathlon<\/strong> with a score of <strong>2,014<\/strong> points, replacing former <strong>Record Holder Max Comer<\/strong> (Country Mills Eagles), who has held that <strong>Record<\/strong> since <strong>2009<\/strong>.\u00a0 <strong>\u201cIt is one of my favorite Track &amp; Field Events\u201d<\/strong>, stated <strong>Head Track &amp; Field Coach <\/strong>Anthony Mills from the <strong>Country Mills Eagles<\/strong>, who also set a <strong>Master\u2019s Men\u2019s (55 \u2013 59) Weight Pentathlon Record<\/strong> with <strong>1,611 <\/strong>points.\u00a0 He continues, <strong>\u201cWe believe that the Combined Events at ALL age divisions is important for most Track &amp; Field Athletes, both from a training point of view, and a Biomechanical perspective, as it helps Athletes to develop so many skills that are the foundation of ALL Sports!\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For those that missed the opportunity to attend this <strong>Combined Events<\/strong> meet, the same will be contested at the <strong>Liberty Games Track &amp;
