\"\"\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0It is safe to say that the Empire State Liberty Tour Track & Field Series<\/strong> survived the five (5)<\/strong> year threshold to determine if it would be a Success Story<\/strong>, or a flop.\u00a0 Success\u00a0 \u00a0Stories<\/strong> are much easier to live with!<\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0The Liberty Tour Track & Field Series<\/strong> begins on Memorial Day Weekend<\/strong> with the Patriot\u2019s Invitational<\/strong>, and concludes each season with the Liberty Games Track & Field<\/strong> competition shortly after Independence Day Weekend<\/strong>, so it was appropriately named.\u00a0 It consists of six (6) Track & Field Events<\/strong> (Patriot\u2019s Invitational<\/strong>, Constitution Classic<\/strong>, President\u2019s Open<\/strong>, AAU Adirondack District Championships<\/strong>, Independence Invitational<\/strong>, and the Liberty Games<\/strong>).\u00a0 It is the ONLY Track & Field Series<\/strong> to contest the Combined Events<\/strong> twice each year (AAU Adirondack District Championships<\/strong> and the Liberty Games<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Since it\u2019s Inaugural Season<\/strong> in 2005<\/strong>, it has been a Track & Field Series<\/strong> that is open to Athletes<\/strong> of ALL<\/strong> ages (3 \u2013 95<\/strong>).\u00a0 That IS<\/strong> correct, the youngest competitor was 3 <\/strong>years old, and the oldest competitor was 95<\/strong> years young!\u00a0 Athletes have come from Florida<\/strong>, Colorado<\/strong>, California<\/strong>, and even New York<\/strong> to compete.\u00a0 Produced by the Empire State Sports Council<\/strong>, they have hosted more than 20,000 Athletes<\/strong>, and it grows each year.\u00a0 Beginning with their 10th<\/sup> Anniversary<\/strong> in 2014<\/strong>, ES Sports<\/strong> partnered with Liberty Sports Group<\/strong> to offer more than $1,500<\/strong> in Gift Certificates<\/strong> each year to the top four (4) Track & Field Clubs <\/strong>that compete at the Liberty Tour Track & Field Series<\/strong> (more than 40<\/strong> Teams).<\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u201cIt has been much like raising Children.\u00a0 There are GREAT moments and occasionally terrible moments, but you NEVER consider throwing them away!\u201d,<\/strong> claims Anthony Mills, Executive Director for ES Sports<\/strong>.\u00a0 He continues, \u201cWhat is most interesting to absorb is the fact that some of the Athletes that competed in the Junior Divisions in 2004, now have their own Children competing in the Liberty Tour Track & Field Series!\u00a0 We are now entering the next generation of Athletes!\u201d <\/strong>\ud83d\ude0a<\/p>\n
