“A Little Rain” didn’t seem to keep Imani Pierce (Schenectady Superstars) from taking 1st Place in the Girl’s (11-12) 100m Dash!<\/p><\/div>\n

It is an old saying that, \u201cIn Every Life a Little Rain Must Fall!\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0 I believe there are two (2)<\/strong> points to draw from this statement that are most helpful:<\/p>\n

  1. We are NEVER<\/strong> going to have Sunshine<\/strong> every day!\u00a0 As much as it would be preferred, most Living Things<\/strong> would die, without water.\u00a0 So, Rain<\/strong> means Life!<\/strong> \ud83d\ude0a<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
      \n
    1. As much as it may be, at times, inconvenient, as long as we make it through the \u201cinconvenience\u201d<\/strong>, we will be better for it in the end.\u00a0 Thus, we \u201cGrow\u201d<\/strong> as individual Athletes<\/strong>!\u00a0 Isn\u2019t Rain supposed to help things \u201cGrow\u201d?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      How appropriate for us to have the luxury of \u201cA Little Rain\u201d<\/strong> for the Patriot\u2019s Invitational<\/strong>, then?\u00a0 It kept the Athletes<\/strong> from drying out and being parched.\u00a0 It also forced everyone to be precise with their form, in order to avoid slippery conditions.\u00a0 It further provided a thorough understanding of the value Spikes<\/strong> have at a Track & Field Meet!<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Fortunately, there were many Athletes <\/strong>for whom the Rain DID NOT<\/strong> deter their Performance,<\/strong> as there were plenty of PR\u2019s<\/strong> set, along with 1st<\/sup> Place Finishes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
