On the evening of April 18, 1775<\/strong>, Dr. Joseph Warren summoned Paul Revere<\/strong> and gave him the task of riding to Lexington, Massachusetts, with the news that British Soldiers<\/strong>, stationed in Boston<\/strong>, were about to march into the countryside, Northwest <\/strong>of the town.<\/p>\n

Paul Revere<\/strong> then contacted a friend, Robert Newman, the sexton of Christ Church<\/strong> in Boston\u2019s North End<\/strong>, and instructed him to hold two (2)<\/strong> lit Lanterns<\/strong> in the Tower<\/strong> of Christ Church<\/strong> (now called the Old North Church<\/strong>) as a predetermined signal to fellow Sons of Liberty<\/strong> across the Charles River<\/strong>, that the British Troops<\/strong> planned to Row \u201cby Sea\u201d<\/strong> across the Charles River<\/strong> to Cambridge<\/strong>, rather than March \u201cby Land\u201d<\/strong> out Boston Neck<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

It was more than a decade before the Constitution <\/strong>would be signed, but it was the beginning of a Movement<\/strong>, which is known as America!<\/strong> \ud83d\ude0a<\/p>\n

\"\"Perhaps, in similar fashion, the Boston North Track Club<\/strong> is making their case at the Liberty Tour<\/strong>, as they overcame the Country Mills Eagles<\/strong> to win the Constitution Classic!<\/strong>\u00a0 It was NOT Paul Revere<\/strong> leading the way, but their Head Coach<\/strong> and Elite Sprinter, Melique Garcia<\/strong>, who set a New Constitution Classic Record <\/strong>in the Open Men\u2019s<\/strong> 100m<\/strong> with a time of 10.82<\/strong>, replacing himself from 2022<\/strong>, when he posted a time of 10.91!<\/strong>\u00a0 Moreover, he also set a New Constitution Classic Record<\/strong> in the 200m<\/strong> (22.90) leaving Mark Silverman\u2019s<\/strong> time of 24.07<\/strong> in the dust, from back in 2007!<\/strong>\u00a0 Who needs a Horse<\/strong> to make Good Time?<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"One of the newest Teams <\/strong>to join the Liberty Tour<\/strong> is Nova Elite<\/strong>, and although fewer in numbers, at this point, Malachi Young<\/strong> made quite a bit of noise when he torched the previous Constitution Classic Boy\u2019s (17-18) 110m Hurdle Record<\/strong> by Sam Smith<\/strong> of 17.07<\/strong>, back in 2010<\/strong>, with a blistering time of 15.61<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Always in the hunt for a Team Gift Certificate<\/strong> is the Glencadia Bullets<\/strong>, and their Boy\u2019s (15-16) 4 x 100m Relay Team <\/strong>CRUSHED<\/strong> the previous Constitution Classic Record<\/strong> of 54.15<\/strong> held by the Country Mills Eagles<\/strong>, with a Cruisin\u2019 Time<\/strong> of 48.53<\/strong>, anchored by Parker McCollum<\/strong>, who also set a temporary New Constitution Classic Record<\/strong> in the 100m<\/strong>, until it was beaten in the Finals<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Schenectady Superstars<\/strong> had something to say, when their Girl\u2019s (11-12) Relay Team<\/strong> set a New Constitution Classic Record<\/strong> in the 4 x 100m Relay<\/strong> with a time of 60.60<\/strong> eclipsing their previous Record <\/strong>from 2022<\/strong>, which was 62.44<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
