\"\"\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u201cIn the Business World, you either Lead or Get Out of the Way!\u201d<\/strong>, claims Anthony Mills, Executive Director of the Empire State Sports Council<\/strong>.\u00a0 He continues, \u201cIt was time for the Empire State Sports Council\u00a0<\/strong>to find such a person!\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0 He is referring to the Empire State Corporate Challenge<\/strong>, which will debut in April<\/strong> of 2018!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Starting in late December the Empire State Sports Council<\/strong> (ES Sports<\/strong> for short) received 109<\/strong> Applications for two (2) Assistant Event Coordinators<\/strong>.\u00a0 One for the Empire State Corporate Challenge<\/strong>, and the other for the Liberty Games<\/strong>.\u00a0 After more than 30<\/strong> days of a rigorous process that included reviewing each Resume<\/strong>, reviewing each Personality Test<\/strong>, administering Phone Interviews<\/strong>, reviewing each Applicant\u2019s Solutions<\/strong> on how to Develop <\/strong>and Expand<\/strong> the scope of the ES Sports Events<\/strong>, and Personal<\/strong> (Face to Face) Interviews<\/strong>, such a LEADER <\/strong>was found!<\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u201cAlthough she IS NOT interested in \u2018Photo Ops\u2019, or being a \u2018Movie Star\u2019, she possesses an attraction that is almost magnetic.\u201d<\/strong>, according to Mr. Mills.\u00a0 He adds, \u201cShe is a Goal Setter, a Worker, and is NOT afraid to Take the Lead!\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0 With plenty of experience behind her that is equal to her ability to meet people, Brandy Farber<\/strong> is the Event Coordinator<\/strong> for the Empire State Corporate Challenge!<\/strong>\u00a0 There are plenty of \u201cCorporate Challenges\u201d<\/strong> around the nation, and most of them are about Running<\/strong>.\u00a0 But only a small handful contest multiple Sports Events<\/strong>, and NONE<\/strong> that are Family Friendly!<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0The Empire State Corporate Challenge<\/strong> will contest seven (7)<\/strong> events in 2018<\/strong>, including the Kick-off Event<\/strong>, which will be Dodgeball<\/strong> (Saturday, April 21st<\/sup>).\u00a0 Additional events are Basketball <\/strong>(3-on-3), Softball<\/strong>, Track & Field<\/strong>, 5k Run<\/strong>, Kickball<\/strong>, and the Great Empire Walk!<\/strong>\u00a0 The Great Empire Walk<\/strong> is the Final Event<\/strong>, and will take place at Via Port Mall in Rotterdam on Saturday<\/strong>, September 22nd<\/sup><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u201cI am honored to have been selected as the Event Coordinator for the Empire State Corporate Challenge!\u201d, <\/strong>exclaims Brandy.\u00a0 \u201cWhen I first heard about this New Event, I thought it was an excellent concept, as I LOVED the idea of including Families!\u00a0 There is NO reason why every Business in the Empire State is not participating in some of these Events, especially the Great Empire Walk!\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n
