Entrance Fees: <\/strong>\u00a0Preregistration rate: \u00a0Youth $20;\u00a0 Open\/Masters $30; \u00a0Relays: \u00a0$5 \u00a0 There is a Day of Meet charge of an additional $10 for late registration.\u00a0 CHANGES TO ENTRIES are discouraged, but will be allowed, and\u00a0will\u00a0incur a Fee of $5 per change!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Team Discounts:\u00a0 <\/strong>Teams that register 10-24 athletes \u2013 $1 off each; 25-49 athletes \u2013 $2 off each; \u00a050 or more athletes \u2013 $3 off each.\u00a0 To qualify for team discounts, teams MUST submit a Team Roster to ES Sports, which includes contact information (Name, Address, Phone, E-mail) for the Parents of each Athlete. \u00a0Due to Insurance DEMANDS, we MUST have a means to connect with Parents should something happen. \u00a0 Team Discounts do not apply for Athletes who Register\u00a0late or day of meet.<\/p>\n

Track Events<\/strong>: \u00a0100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 3000m, 5000m,1500m RW, 3000m RW, HH, IH, NO Steeplechase<\/strong>, 4×100, 4×400, 4×800<\/p>\n

Field \u00a0Events: <\/strong>High Jump, Long Jump, Triple Jump, \u00a0Shot Put, Discus Throw and Javelin\/Turbo Jav Throw. \u00a0There will be no implement inspection. All Youth (18 and younger) will get three (3) trials; Open and Masters will get six (6) trials, assuming there are not enough entries to have Preliminary Flights<\/strong>, and then Finals.<\/strong> <\/span> (This does not apply to HJ or PV.)<\/p>\n

Eligibility:\u00a0 <\/strong>All age groups allowed.\u00a0 USATF or AAU membership not required.\u00a0 Primary, Bantams and Midgets are allowed three\u00a0events. \u00a0Youth, Junior Scholastic, Senior Scholastic,\u00a0Open, & Masters may enter\u00a0four events.\u00a0 Relays do not count toward the limit.<\/p>\n

Age Divisions<\/strong>: \u00a0Youth age divisions are determined by the year of birth.\u00a0\u00a0Primary \u2013 2020 +; Sub Bantam \u2013 2019-2018; Bantam \u2013 2017-2016; Midget \u2013 2015-2014; Youth \u2013 2013-2012; Juniors \u2013 2011-2010; Seniors \u2013 2009-2008 (This division includes those athletes who are still 18 up until August 8, 2026).\u00a0\u00a0Open and Masters age divisions are determined by age on the day of the meet.<\/p>\n

Helpful tips at the Meet:\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

1. \u00a0Enter on time<\/strong>: \u00a0Late registrations, additions, and changes only slow the meet down AND increases the likelihood of errors. \u00a0All the paperwork is printed well before the day of the meet. So when entries are received late, the changes are penciled in on the heat sheets, and are easy to miss.<\/p>\n

2. \u00a0Scratches<\/strong>: \u00a0If you know an athlete will not be attending, let the official at their event(s) know. \u00a0The official spends time waiting, looking, and sending people to find these non attending athletes.<\/p>\n

3. Accurate entries: \u00a0Make sure your athlete’s Date of birth and Gender\u00a0is accurate! \u00a0When athletes register, ES Sports can only \u00a0take the data entered. \u00a0These errors in athlete entry may change an athlete’s division, thus affecting other athlete’s results….most notably in the 100m Dash Prelims and Finals.<\/strong><\/p>\n

4. \u00a0Compatible Events<\/strong>: \u00a0When entering an athlete, choose the events that the athlete can realistically compete in. Just because you are allowed 3 or 4 events, you do not need to enter that many. \u00a0This is along the lines of what my Mother used to say: “You can have as much as you want, just eat what you take!” \u00a0So, enter as many events up to your limit, but attend the events you enter. \u00a0This reduces the scratches issues listed in #2.<\/p>\n

If there are two events going simultaneously, ie. Pole Vault \u00a0and High Jump for 13-14, you may not want to enter both. The athlete will be forced to go back and forth between venues, tiring them out (thus affecting their performance) and requiring both events to wait for their return (sometimes the athlete never returns, so the official and all the other athletes were waiting for no reason).\u00a0 This DRAMATICALLY<\/strong> affects the length of the competition!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
