\"\"<\/a>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 It was the 13th<\/sup> Annual Liberty Tour Track & Field Series<\/strong> being kicked off by the 13th<\/sup> Patriot\u2019s Invitational!<\/strong>\u00a0 Some might suggest, if they were superstitious, \u00a0that the number 13<\/strong> is an \u201cunlucky\u201d<\/strong> number.\u00a0 I have always maintained that when it comes to Athletic Performance, luck is NEVER<\/strong> part of the equation.\u00a0 An Athlete is either prepared, or NOT <\/strong>prepared.\u00a0 They are likely going to reap the results of the effort they have put into practice up to the point of competition.<\/p>\n

Bursting onto the Liberty Tour Track & Field<\/strong> scene was Taydence Morrison!<\/strong>\u00a0 In less than a \u201cNY Minute\u201d<\/strong>, he was in the Record Books<\/strong> with his 100m Dash <\/strong>performance of 14.80<\/strong> seconds (Pictured Above<\/em><\/strong>), shattering the previous record by more than a second!\u00a0 A successful first performance for sure, but he didn\u2019t stop there! \u00a0He proceeded to set the Patriot\u2019s Invitational Record<\/strong> in the 400m Dash<\/strong> with a time of 1:19.08<\/strong>, surpassing the old mark by nearly five (5)<\/strong> seconds.\u00a0 Obviously on a roll, he completed a clean sweep of the Sprint Events<\/strong> by setting a new Patriot\u2019s Invitational Record<\/strong> in the 200m Dash<\/strong>, as well with a blistering time of 32.64<\/strong> seconds, crushing the previous record by almost four (4)<\/strong> seconds!<\/p>\n

\u201cI am not sure how much help this young Athlete is around the house, but he sure cleaned house here today!\u201d<\/strong>, quipped Anthony Mills, Executive Director for the Empire State Sports Council<\/strong>, which produces the Liberty Tour Track & Field Series<\/strong>.\u00a0 He adds, \u201cAs a Sprint Coach, myself, I found it exciting to watch him do his thing!\u00a0 It will be FUN to watch his maturity over the coming years!\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Taydence is part of In A NY Minute<\/strong>, a Track & Field Club from Taconic Hills<\/strong>, coached by Neil Howard Jr.\u00a0 Entering their 4th<\/sup> <\/strong>year of organization, they are beginning to make their presence known.\u00a0 There were other Patriot\u2019s Invitational Records<\/strong> set by their Team, including his son, Neil Howard III, and his daughter, Claire Howard.<\/p>\n
