Able to Leap Tall Buildings – 06
He is certainly fast, but is he faster than a speeding bullet? He puts the shot, but is he more powerful than a locomotive? He is seen above setting the President’s Open Intermediate Boys record in the Long Jump, but is he able to leap tall buildings in a single bound? If so, he is ready for primetime television, but I suspect he still needs plenty of practice to become America’s most famous superhero, Superman!
He is Timathy Holzhauer! Tim has been a member of the Country Mills Eagles Athletic Club for all four years of the club’s existence. He is also quickly becoming one of the club’s premier athletes. With the USATF Adirondack Association Junior Olympic Championship coming up, Tim is expected to perform very well and take many Gold Medals from that meet. “Tim has developed into a fine athlete over the last couple of years”, says head coach Anthony Mills. He adds, “I think Tim’s performances began to improve the day he stopped putting maroon dye in his hair for the meets. I’m just joking! Tim has decided to ‘do the work’ necessary to go from being just an ordinary athlete to becoming the ‘elite’ athlete he aspires to be.”
