Overcoming Obstacles

On a day that seemed almost perfectly designed for outdoor competition; where the sun provided the ideal spotlight for the Adirondack Championship stage, one would think that this was a day created for great performances.  Instead, it was a day filled with obstacles!  The good news is that, “One man’s obstacles, can quickly become another man’s record setting performance.”

As a future Track & Field star, Alex Schettino (Pictured Above) sets a Liberty Tour,  Adirondack Championship, and a Country Mills Eagles record in the Young Men’s Pole Vault by clearing 4.13m!

We would like very much to show you every Country Mills Eagles performance at the 2010 Adirondack Championships, but you might never get a chance to eat if we did that, so we provided some of the those performances as a glimpse of those that had to overcome obstacles in order to set a new record.  Just scroll down below, and then click on the Thumbnail to see the entire photographic performance.  To view the current Records for the Adirondack Championships, click on “Records” from the navigation bar for the Liberty Tour, and then click on Adirondack Championships.  For all of the Results from the 2010 Adirondack Championships, just click “Results” from the navigation bar for the Liberty Tour.
