Master Adam Grogin

     Master Grogin started training in Karate in 1987. In 1992 he switched to Tae Kwon Do which to this day has remained his main style of focus. He has been teaching Tae Kwon Do for over 16 years and in 2005 he opened Pil-Sung Martial Arts in Albany, NY. Over his past 25 years in martial arts, Adam has also spent time training in; Wu Shu, Wing Chun, Kung Fu, Capoeira, Gumdo, Kun Tao, Gymnastics, & Extreme Martial Arts. In the late 1980’s through the year 2000, Master Grogin competed in hundreds of martial arts tournaments, mainly World Tae Kwon Do, Federation Tae Kwon Do and some Wu Shu. He earned multiple titles including multi-time NY State Champion.

     In 2007 Master Grogin established the Annual North East Open Martial Arts Tournament and Showcase. Master Grogin is the New York State Regional Director for the United States Breaking Association and World Breaking Association, as well as director of the USBA Northeastern US circuit.

     In 2009 the North East Open and Master Grogin were awarded the Ambassador’s Award by the City of Albany.
