Independence Invitational 2015

        The 4th stop of the Empire State Liberty Tour Track & Field Series has concluded, and the Team Standings for the top four (4) Teams are as follows:

            1st Place – Chatham Gold – 986.75 points

            2nd Place – Country Mills Eagles – 757 points

            3rd Place – In A NY Minute – 615 points

            4th Place – NY Nova Starz – 495 points

           Next up on the schedule is the Independence Invitational, and the race has tightened, with the Averill Park Road Runners (420.5 points) just barely on the outside looking in to take over 4th Place.  Remember, the Liberty Games is a “weighted” event, which means that the points are DOUBLED!  We look forward to seeing everyone, along with a couple of new Teams, at the next couple of Liberty Tour events, possibly from Jamaica! 

Independence Invitational – Friday, July 3rd (4:00 pm)

@ CBA (Christian Brothers Academy)

             CBA High School has an eight (8) lane track on the straightaway, and six (6) lanes all the way around.  There is only one (1) Sand Pit, and a Pavilion!  We are excited to have them hosting the Independence Invitational at this facility, which will also be the host for the Opening Festival in 2016.  This is a change in venue from the original Liberty Tour schedule which was sent out in April.  We hope you will join us for all of the Exciting Competition and Fun that surrounds each ES Sports event!
