Patriotic Start to the Empire State Liberty Tour

It was Memorial Day Weekend for the Patriot’s Invitational, the first Track & Field meet of the inaugural season of the Empire State Liberty Tour, and what a day to remember!  A meet which saw athletes from around the Northeast region of the US come to compete for the right to be the first record setters of the exciting Liberty Tour Track & Field series.  The host site, Shenendehowa High School in Clifton Park, NY, presented the perfect atmosphere for the Patriot’s Invitational!  The sun shone bright, the music light, and the food just right made for a wonderful and exciting day of competition and fun.

Outback Steakhouse of Clifton Park offered chicken sandwiches and hamburgers, while Auntie Anne’s served up tasty (but nutritious) pretzels, and Coca Cola supplied beverages for attendees to keep well energized and hydrated throughout the day’s activities.  For the many athletes and spectators on hand, it was a “Great Beginnning” to the Tour of meets scheduled from Memorial Day Weekend through Independence Day Weekend.
