BEAUTIFUL DISASTER

     
     Based out of the Capital Region of New York, Beautiful Disaster was founded in March 2013, and the group focuses on original music under the genre of "Alternative Rock". They are influenced by bands like Dave Matthews, Gaslight Anthem, Incubus, and many more.

     The Empire State Sports Council is pleased to announce that Beautiful Disaster will be the featured entertainment for the Opening Festival of the Liberty Games at the University @ Albany, Thursday, July 17th, and will begin at 6:00 pm. The gates will open at 5:00 pm.

     The band is made up of four (4) friends; Kate Yerry, the lead vocalist; Steve Thompson, guitarist and vocals; Sean Mack, bassist and backup vocals; Mike Diaco, drums. The group's original music is inspired from past experiences of life and new outlooks for the future. Beautiful Disaster released a self-titled EP in May 2014, featuring, "Outta This Place", one of the band's first songs. They continue to create and write new music in hopes of creating a full length album in the coming year.
